Personal Attention

Many financial advisors are simply asset gatherers who disappear soon after the client engagement commences while others are overwhelmed with their client workload. If you are interested in forming a long-term relationship with a financial advisor who is responsive to your financial concerns and needs, ask how many clients he or she regularly services to get a sense as to how much personal attention they can dedicate to you.

As the only financial advisor at Titanium Advisors, Kevin Nulton works directly with all of our clients, no junior staffers will take over the relationship after the paperwork has been signed. More importantly, in order to provide the personal service and attention to detail necessary to provide continuing financial planning advice, Titanium Advisors will work with no more than 50 long-term clients. This assures our clients that we will always be up to speed on their current financial situation whenever questions or issues arise.

Comprehensive Financial Planning

Most financial advisors claim to offer comprehensive financial planning but few actually provide it. Instead, their attention soon becomes solely focused upon managing your investments with the result that your money becomes the client instead of you.

Titanium Advisors takes a holistic approach to each clients financial goals and objectives which continues throughout the years. While investment management is important, so is retirement planning, college funding, insurance needs, estate planning, tax minimization, etc. Kevin Nulton has over 30 years of experience dealing with these types of issues and so is able to provide professional insights, alternatives, and solutions which are significantly beyond the expertise of most other advisors.

Client Education

We strongly believe in educating our clients so that they understand not only our financial advice but also the underlying rationale upon which it was based. We don’t try to dazzle with complicated jargon. In fact, we pride ourselves on doing the opposite: making investment and financial planning concepts understandable to all of our clients.

Dimensional Fund Advisors (DFA)

Our clients benefit from access to the low-cost, institutional class mutual funds offered by Dimensional Fund Advisors (DFA). These funds are based upon extensive research into what drives market returns over time, particularly the work of Eugene Fama, recipient of the 2013 Nobel Prize in Economics. DFA does not advertise and limits access to its funds to institutional investors and a select group of fee-only financial advisory firms who understand the benefits of their structured approach to investing. Titanium Advisors is one of those approved firms.

We find that DFA funds often provide the best vehicle for building globally diversified, low-cost portfolios which maximize risk-adjusted returns. Of course, we receive no fees or commissions for using DFA funds and whenever we feel there is a better investment alternative for a particular asset class, we use it.
